Kevin Abanto is a graduate of the Faculty of Architecture & Urbanism at the Ricardo Palma University, curator, teacher, researcher & designer with emerging media from technology & exploration. He currently practices in curatorship, education and research on the metaverse, web 3.0, blockchain technology, NFTs & Ai. Also in the exploration of new media design integrating Ai, film, anime, languages & music with a connection between emerging technologies, theory, politics & philosophy.
Founder Director of the multidisciplinary Studio Kevin Abanto. Where he is developing projects for Hollywood, Lithuania, Los Angeles, Paris and India, respectively focused on a documentary, music video, NFTs in fashion design, Paris Fashion Week 2023 & an artificial intelligence research group (2022-today).
Founder Director of the Shadi School of Design & Research, which integrates: science, technology, music, cinema, photography. Developing workshops based on films, documentaries, novels, criticism, theories, fostering critical thinking and expanding the panorama of design and research by integrating cutting-edge technologies for project development (2021-today).
He obtained an honorary distinction from his university and an invitation from the dean of the faculty to participate in teaching & education proposals. Has collaborated in projects of art, architecture, exhibitions & competitions (organized and participated) in the Venice Architecture Biennale 2021 - Italy, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Netherlands, Los Angeles, Lithuania, Paris, India & Peru. Has been a jury in Colombia & expositor in Miami, Indonesia, Panama & Peru.
